Honeysuckle Home is a home store in Indianapolis in the neighborhood of Broad Ripple. We started the store five years ago this June so we could offer people a selection of home decor products that might not be available in other stores. The inspirations for the store were the boutiques of larger cities such as New York and Chicago. As a former antique dealer, I wanted the store to resemble something one might find in European cities and have antique fixtures and an “old world” look.
I began scouring the markets for soaps, tableware, linens, stationery, and gifts that would fit into this ideal. The result is Honeysuckle Home – “European charm in your neighborhood.”
My other passion and inspiration for the store is the preservation of the environment. I have tried to add things to the store that are recycled, organic, and otherwise friendly to the environment. I will be talking about these in the posts to follow.
I have wanted a chance to tell more people about our products for a while now and so we have started a blog. Welcome.
